BubbleBeast DigiDungeon

Finished: ✓The Y2K Furry Music-Puzzle Game that I didn't know that I needed.
This game is a very vibrant splash of color.
I really like this twist on the classic "match four of the same colors" mechanic.
The bubbles that you shoot are attracted towards towards the center of the screen, meaning that the game board is this ever moving, ebbing and flowing mass.
You can't manually control how you shoot the bubbles. Instead, it's choreographed to the music.
You have to conquer both of these elements to survive to the end of the song by clearing the bubbles (by making four of the same colored bubbles touch, of course) before they pile up and fill the board.
The story takes you through the five levels of the game as you meet and battle with a cast of cute characters. Each stage has some sort of unique mechanic that you have to adapt to. All the while, you are jamming out to the music in every single level.
All parts of the game contribute wonderfully to a colorful, peppy, loud, and in-your-face aesthetic.
You don't simply play the game: everything from the music, to the visuals, to the gameplay make you feel the game in your core. So much effort was put into the game to make all of its parts harmonize wonderfully. There is something so lovely about playing the game on a fake Nintendo DS with stickers on it.
It's free so go play it and then listen to the soundtrack.
