This song is from a game called TUNIC.
First of all, if you haven’t heard of or played TUNIC, I highly encourage it. It is very likely to be my game of the year 2022 (ignore the fact that I’ve only played like 3 games that came out this year).
You would think that a game inspired by the Legend of Zelda series would have bombastic and heroic songs, but TUNIC does something different. Every song in the TUNIC OST has a way of feeling mysterious, like you are listening to something that you don’t fully understand. Sometimes within the mystery and strangeness is a feeling of familiarity and warmth.
That is what this song feels like to me: something so fundamentally understandable in a world that is so strange and cryptic.
